When Landscape Istanbul Fair 2025 (LIF 2025) opens its doors, it will host an exceptional gathering of international experts, thought leaders, and leading suppliers, offering four days of invaluable insights, networking and innovation from 8-11 October 2025.
This year’s event is particularly significant as it coincides with the 10th anniversary of World Urban Parks, marking a decade of transformative efforts in enhancing urban parks and public spaces globally.

Get Ready for the Call for Session Proposals
The third edition of the World Urban Parks Symposium, held during the Landscape Istanbul Fair 2025, is just around the corner! The official Call for Educational Session Proposals opens on May 20th, 2025, and we want to make sure you’re fully prepared to submit a strong and complete proposal. Here’s what you’ll need to include when submitting your proposal:
- Personal Details: Provide accurate and complete information for all presenters, including full names, job titles, organizations, and contact details.
- Photo: Upload a high-resolution, color photo showing your face clearly (head and shoulders).
- Session Title: Create a compelling and descriptive title (max. 12 words) that captures the core of your session.
- Thematic Axis: Choose one of the following themes that best fits your proposal:
- Nature & Climate Resilience
- Equity & Inclusive Cities
- Experience & Innovation in Public Spaces
- Thoughtful Water & Resource Management
- Session Description: In 200 words or less, provide a clear, engaging, and appealing description of your session. This description will be featured on the official event site if selected.
- Justification: Explain the relevance and importance of your proposal. How does your project, initiative, or research address current challenges in public spaces, and how does it connect to the symposium’s theme: NEXT: The Next Generation of Cities and Public Spaces?
- Learning Objectives: List at least three concrete and measurable learning outcomes attendees can expect from your session.
You may include up to three supporting links to strengthen your proposal, such as:
- Research papers
- Videos or documentaries
- Articles or press features
- Project websites or public reports
